Sumney called for more collaboration and support among creatives in the Ghanaian film industry to achieve success and effectively compete with other African countries. Drawing a comparison between working with Ghanaian and Nigerian actors, she noted that Nigerians are more harmonious and efficient at supporting each other, whereas negativity among many individuals in the Ghanaian film industry leads to unhealthy competition and hinders growth.
